How to set up an MMC hunting camera?
Very often, after buying a hunting camera that supports the MMS (multimedia message) function, the question "How to set it up?" pops out. We currently offer the following camera models that have this feature: Spromise S378, Spromise S358, Spromise S328, Spromise S128, Stealth Cam GX45NGW, Acorn Guard, Scout Guard SG880MK HD, Scout Guard SG880 M, LTL Acorn 5210M, LTL Acorn 5310M and LTL Acorn 6210 MM (feature details of the corresponding model can be found on the site, in the category Hunting Cameras). All models send pictures via a standard SIM card. For the convenience of our customers, www.spyboar.com provides prepaid cards (including an unlimited number of MMS messages). The operators we work with are - VIVACOM, YETTEL and A1. When you rent a SIM card from us, you will receive a packet with unlimited MMS sending (supported by YETTEL and A1) or unlimited email sending via GPRS (YETTEL, VIVACOM or A1).
IMPORTANT: When renting a package with our SIM card, the setup is done by us and is free if the camera is purchased by us. We can set up your camera as well with a service charge of 30 BGN.
Payment terms
When you rent a SIM card from Spyboar, you are NOT responsible for paying the mobile provider. Monthly fees are paid to us, the minimum payment period is 6 months. After this deadline, our associate will contact you to activate or deactivate the next 6 months.The prices of the relevant services are:
VIVACOM - BGN 11.90 per month (unlimited number of photos per email address)
YETTEL- BGN 11.90 per month (unlimited number of photos per email address)
A1 - BGN 11.90 per month (unlimited number of photos per email address)
YETTEL - BGN 14.90 per month (unlimited number of pictures to a mobile phone, with a YETTEL number for receiving)
A1 - BGN 14.90 per month (unlimited number of photos to a mobile phone, with A1 number for receipt)
IMPORTANT: Please, before selecting the appropriate tariff plan, make sure that at the place where you will place the camera have service of the respective operator that you will use!
IMPORTANT: The condition of renting our MMS card including an unlimited number of MMS messages to a telephone number from the YETTEL or A1 network is that the receiving telephone number must be from the YETTEL or A1 network, respectively.If you are not a YETTEL or A1 subscriber, you can buy a My Menu or Prima card from the relevant representative store, which is prepaid and does not charge you monthly fees. Also, make sure that the phone which will receive the MMS is properly tuned for the respective features. If there is a problem, contact the appropriate operator for assistance.In the next steps, we will show you how to set up your own hunting camera equipped with the MMS function.
IMPORTANT: The appropriate type of settings are always made after formatting the SD memory card to use with the camera. This is done in the following two ways:
- First way - you insert the appropriate memory card into your computer using the built-in or external card reader -> "My computer" and find the appropriate device. Right-click on it and go to "Format -> Start -> OK -> OK"
- Second way (recommended) - insert the memory card into the hunting camera. You switch to TEST mode, go to the settings menu, and find the Format function.
Set up an LTL Acorn 5210M / 5310M hunting camera to send MMS to a phone number:
MMS Hunting Camera settings are made using the software you have in the disc sent to you when purchasing a new hunting camera from www.spyboar.com.
Step 1: Insert your SD memory card into your computer
Step 2: Run the setup.exe file
Step 3: Select exactly your camera model from the "Camera Model" drop-down menu
Step 4: Click on MMS Setup
Step 5: In the Country and Operator menus, select the country and operator of your SIM card, respectively.
Step 6: In the "Phone No" field, enter the number to which you will receive an MMS
Step 7: Select "Select" from below
Step 8: Select the appropriate memory card (which you previously inserted into your computer) and give "OK"
Step 9: Choose Generate
Step 10: You will get the message "LTL 5210 MMS configuration file (URL | APN | Gateway | Port…) has been generated"
Step 11: Select "OK"
Step 12: Remove the memory card from your computer and insert it into your camera.
Step 13: Turn on TEST mode
Step 14: A message in red will appear „generated successful”
Generating of MMS settings on an LTL Acorn 5210M / 5310M hunting camera
The appearance of the caption in step 14 is evidence of the correct setup of the LTL Acorn 5210M / 5310M hunting camera for sending MMS messages.
To check if your set up was correct to follow these steps: The camera must first be switched off in "OFF" mode, -> insert rear (GSM module) -> switch on in "TEST" mode. You will hear a one-off sound and one of the diodes in front of the camera will go into blink mode (this is a signal that the camera is gaining range). Wait 10 to 50 seconds and there will be a beep twice. Separate the module and camera without turning it off and check the screen in the right corner. The range should be displayed there.
Setting up a Hunting Camera model LTL Acorn 5210M / 5310M to send email via GPRS
IMPORTANT: To use this feature of LTL Acorn 5210 / 5310M model cameras you need two email addresses: one to send and one to receive.
Sending Email: Please send your registration email to www.mail.ru (eg [email protected]) and remember your username and password. You will only need them to set up, then you do not have to open the mail and check for letters. Receiving Email: For a receiving email, you can use your mail or any other email, regardless of its configuration (@ abv.bg; @ yahoo.com….). www.spyboar.com recommends that the receipt email is… .. @ gmail.com because this type of email is the most convenient and most functional to use.
Step 1: Insert your SD memory card into your computer
Step 2: Run the setup.exe file
Step 3: Select exactly your camera model from the "Camera Model" drop-down menu
Step 4: Click on "Smtp Setup"
Step 5: In the Country and Operator menus, select the country and operator of your SIM card, respectively.
Step 6: In the "Smtp Server" box, type "smtp.mail.ru"
Step 7: In the "Port" field, enter "465"
Step 8: In the "Sender Email" field, enter the username of the Russian mail you created
Step 9: In the "Password" field, enter the password of the Russian mail you created
Step 10: In the "Email 01" field, enter the username of the mail to which you will receive pictures
Step 11: Select "Select" from below
Step 12: Select the appropriate memory card (which you previously inserted into your computer) and give "OK"
Step 13: Generate
Step 14: You will get the message "LTL 5210 MMS configuration file (URL | APN | Gateway | Port…) has been generated"
Step 15: Give 'OK'
Step 16: Remove the memory card from your computer and insert it into your camera
Step 17: Turn on TEST mode
Step 18: You will receive a red message "generated successful"
Generation of SMTP settings for the LTL Acorn 5210M / 5310M hunting camera
Once the caption in Step 16 appears, you correctly generated your LTL Acorn 5210M hunting camera for sending E-mail via GPRS.
Note: To check that everything works after you have done the above steps, turn off the camera in “OFF” mode, insert the back (module) and start in “TEST” mode. The camera will beep once and one of the diodes in front will flash (dial range). Wait for about 1 minute to squeak once more, slightly open the lid (module) and check that the screen shows range, as shown in the picture above.
Setting up a Scoutguard SG 880M hunting camera to send MMS:
Step 1: Format the memory card by one of the methods mentioned above
Step 2: Download this pre-generated file from here: MMS settings TELENOR - if the SIM card inserted in the camera is on TELENOR or from here: MMS settings MTEL - if the SIM card inserted in the camera is MTEL.
Step 3: Copy and paste the file into your SD memory card (which you pre-loaded into your computer)
Step 4: Extract the pasted file (right-click -> extract here)
Step 5: Open the "GSM" folder and the "PROFILE.INI" file
Step 6: In the place of the asterisks, write down the mobile number to which you will receive MMS
Step 7: Close the file and save the changes
Step 8: Remove the memory card from the computer and insert it into the camera
Step 9: Turn on the camera in TEST mode
Step 10: Wait about 1 minute to gain reach
Step 11: From the remote control press the Menu button
Step 12: In the "Send to" menu, select "Phone MMS"
Step 13: In the "Send mode" menu, select "Instant" set the number of pictures to "unlimited" (before 0)
Step 14: Check steps 12 and 13 again for errors
IMPORTANT: You can manually send one photo for verification. In step 13 you change from Instant to Manual. Exits the menu in the starting position; point the camera at the position you want and hold the 3 button on the remote control to shoot manually. After taking a photo, you give the "OK" button to view the photos, then the "Menu" and "Send" buttons. 10 steps will be generated during camera screen submission. After completion of the process, you should write "Send successful". Then you set up step 13 again.
Setting up a Scoutguard SG 880M hunting camera to send E-mail via GPRS:
Step 1: Format the memory card by one of the methods mentioned above
Step 2: Download this pre-generated file from here: Email settings for Scout Guard SG 880M
Step 3: Copy and paste the file into your SD memory card (which you pre-loaded into your computer)
Step 4: Extract the file that you have already pasted (right-click -> extract here
Step 5: Open the "GSM" folder and the "PROFILE.INI" file
Step 6: In the "Email1" field, enter the mail to which you will receive pictures
Step 7: Close the file and save the changes
Step 8: Remove the memory card from the computer and insert it into the camera
Step 9: Turn on the camera in TEST mode
Step 10: Wait about 1 minute to gain reach
Step 11: From the remote control press the Menu button
Step 12: In the "Send to" menu, select "Email GPRS"
Step 13: In the "Send mode" menu, select "Instant" set the number of pictures to "unlimited" (before 0)
Step 14: Check steps 12 and 13 again if they are done correctly
IMPORTANT: For VIVATEL subscribers, the fields "APN =" and "Account =" must-read "vivacom".
For TELENOR subscribers, the fields "APN =" and "Account =" must write "globul".
For MTEL subscribers, the fields "APN =" and "Account =" must-read "mtel".

The correctness of the work is performed as follows:
The camera must first be turned off in "OFF" mode. Then turn on the GPRS function (via the dedicated button), switch the camera to On mode and press the OK button. Wait a few seconds until "GPRS ..." appears on the display. Attach the back of the camera (GPRS module) to the main body and hold until the red diode in the front flashes. Separate the back (GPRS module) and check that the camera shows range in the upper left part of the display. If done, this means that you have configured your Acorn Guard hunting camera correctly.
