This curving blade is also known as a billhook in Europe and is traditionally used for grafting, incising and pruning. Also handy for harvesting grapes, cutting ties, and a myriad of other uses.
The curved blade is bevelled on both sides and the handle is tapered in the signature Opinel style.
This model is made from stainless steel with a beechwood handle. Features a safety ring that locks the blade in the open and closed positions - so there need never be mishaps involving slipping blades.
