Powerful solar panel for Reolink cameras
Please choose a position with the most sunlight during the year for best absorption. Reolink's solar panel is all you need at the moment of direct sunlight to power your camera for the day. The amount of energy a solar panel can produce is affected by weather conditions, seasonal changes, geographic locations, etc. The ideal angle = local latitude + 5°
Loosen the stand adjustment control and adjust the angle of the solar panel to direct sunlight, then tighten the adjustment control again.
If your solar panel can no longer charge the camera, try the following:
• Unplug and reinsert the charging cable. Please make sure the connection between the solar panel and the camera is stable.
• Make sure your Reolink solar panel is facing the sun and is not obstructed by a tree, construction or other obstructions.
• Make sure your camera does not operate below 0°C (32°F) or above 45°C (113°F).
• If the problem persists, contact Reolink support.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
• Make sure NOT to block light to the solar panel. Energy harvesting efficiency drops dramatically even when a small portion of the solar panel is blocked.
• Please do not install the solar panel completely horizontally. Otherwise, your solar panel can easily accumulate dust and other debris. It is recommended that the solar panel be installed at an angle to receive direct sunlight.
• Wipe the solar panel regularly to change the dust.
