The XTAR VC2S charger is equipped with an automatic battery type identification function. Just by inserting the battery within up to 4 minutes, the charger will automatically detect the battery type without needing to set anything up. Another useful feature is the ability to use the charger to charge your phone or other devices that has a Li-ion rechargeable battery.
The XTAR VC2S is a smart device that does not allow battery polarity to be reversed. In case you don't insert the battery correctly, the XTAR VC2S will tell you that you have made a mistake that you need to correct.
The XTAR VC2S has an LED indicator that shows when the battery is charged and ready to go. The charger also has an internal resistance measurement function. Last but not least is the "0V battery wake-up" function.
With this charger, you can charge your rechargeable Li-ion and Ni-Cd/Ni-Mh batteries absolutely anywhere, as it is powered by a Micro USB port, compatible with all 5V USB ports.
