The Browning Protect Pro Hunter waistcoat is made of high quality materials and protects your hunting dog from the game and helps to distinguish it in hunting.
Almost 14 years ago, our distributors started selling the protection vest from the French manufacturer CANO CONCEPT to our resellers in Central and Eastern Europe. The first model produced in larger series and with great success at that time was called "Protect PRO".
From about 2014 to 2019, we had a cooperation with the rifle manufacturer Browning together with CanoConcept in France. The protection vest was still manufactured under the highest quality standards in the same workshop in France at CANO CONCEPT. Through Browning's large distribution network, this so called „Browning Protect PRO by Cano Concept“ has achieved a much higher profile.
This cooperation ended mainly for the following reason: rifle manufacturer Browning wanted to maximise its profit margin and had an almost 1:1 copy of this successful model made in Indonesia. The model is still called BROWNING Protect PRO, looks very similar to the original on the outside, but is manufactured in a much poorer quality and does not have the same high standard of protection as the original from France.
CANO CONCEPT now manufactures these products again as in the past under its own label CANIHUNT. The advantages are a significantly higher quality of the fabrics, and also a meanwhile very high product variety of hunting dog accessories such as leashes, collars, bells, and so on.
Protective vest for dog Browning Protect Pro
The new Browning protective vest has a built-in protection system on the shoulders and legs, and a new zipper system.
Through the bright orange colour, the dog easily differs from the game during hunting.
This protective layer allows your dog to move safely and at the same time be completely protected from the game, as well as unwanted shots during hunting.
The Browning protective vest specially developed with the French company Cono Concept is a product made of several layers pf Dyneema fibre, Cordura and Molton Wadding, that makes it extremely robust and effective while being very lightweight.
The protective vest has eight-layer for protection. The outer layer is made of Cordura fabric, that is soft and at the same time difficult to tear.
Layers made by Dyneema provide optimum protection when attacking boars while hunting.
The vest is equipped with a system of Molton cotton, which regulates the heat of the dog.
We offer a variety of sizes. Maximum protection for your dog gives freedom of movement. Available in 9 different sizes.

You can clean the hunting vest in a washing machine at max 40 °C. Use a normal laundry detergent, but no softener.
We offer different sizes of jackets, which are easily identifiable as they relate to the chest size of your dog.
To choose the right vest size simply measure around your dog's chest. The other dimensions are standardised, based on the chest size, but this is the most essential measurement as the collar and the belly can be adjusted with velcro.
Measure the dog's chest very precisely (using a flexible tape measure or a piece of string) to establish the exact size. Make sure the tape measure is not too tight, it should just skim the dog's coat.
NEVER BUY A JACKET IN A SIZE BIGGER THANK YOUR DOG BECAUSE THE JACKET CAN RUB AS THE DOG MOVES, CAUSING INJURY TO THE DOG'S FRONT LEGS.
For example:
Size T65 correspond to the dog's chest measurement of 65cm. By removing the additional zip fastening it then measures 62cm. Thanks to the additional chest kit the jacket can be extended by 3 cm or even 6 cm.
If your dog measures 62cm when you measure his as described above, you should choose T65.
The smallest size corresponds to the chest size 45cm, such as Teckel, and the following sizes go up in 5 cm increment, ie T45, T50, T55, T65, T70, T75, T80, T85. Size T85 corresponds to a type of dog such as Grand Blue da Gascogne.
