High-quality thermal night-vision camera Pulsar Axion XM30S
The Pulsar Axion XM30S is an IR imager capable of seeing through complete darkness. It is optimised for outdoor applications such as hunting, spotting and scouting and, to this end, features a durable, compact, lightweight design, long detection range and high optic magnification.
The Pulsar Axion XM30S has a frame rate of 50Hz, a field-of-view of 7.8° x 5.9° and is equipped with a minimalist, professional-grade thermal sensor with a 12µm pixel pitch. This thermal sensor has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and facilitates the camera's long detection range (up to 1200m). Moreover, as a result of this sensor, the Pulsar Axion XM30S is equipped with high optic magnification: 2.5-10 (x4 zoom).
The Pulsar Axion XM30S is able to capture crisp, clear thermal media, even in complete darkness. These images are displayed in vivid colour on the Pulsar Axion XM30S’s LCOS microdisplay. The user is able to alter the colour palettes of these images.
In addition to selectable colour palettes, the Pulsar Axion XM30S includes a digital zoom feature and a Picture-in-Picture function. When the PIP function is engaged the user can focus on a particular target without losing the overall field-of-view: magnified details are displayed in a smaller, secondary image.
The Pulsar Axion XM30S is constructed from a lightweight magnesium alloy; it weighs less than 300g. This, combined with its ergonomic design featuring user-friendly controls, ensures that it can be easily held and operated over prolonged periods of time. The Pulsar Axion XM30S can be held in one hand and may be stored in a pocket when not required.
Additionally, the Pulsar Axion XM30S’ lightweight magnesium alloy provides it with high structural-rigidity and ruggedness. It is also IPX7-certified, ensuring that this infrared imager is waterproof. The Pulsar Axion XM30S is protected from precipitation such as snow and heavy rainfall and can be submerged in up to three feet of water for approximately thirty minutes without sustaining damage.
The compact, rugged, lightweight and ergonomic design of the Pulsar Axion XM30S makes it suitable for time-consuming outdoor applications. Also ensuring that the Pulsar Axion XM30S is suitable for extended periods of operation is its mini B-pack power system which is capable of supplying the unit with over four hours of operating time (temperature: 22°C). The Pulsar Axion XM30S’s batteries can be taken out of the monocular to be re-powered in the supplied charging station or they may be recharged whilst in the IR imager by using the provided USB cable.
Additionally, the Pulsar Axion XM30S is equipped with revolutionary electronics designed to provide a near-instant start-up. This preserves power and extends the battery’s life.
The Pulsar Axion XM30S is a lightweight, durable and compact professional-grade infrared imager capable of seeing through complete darkness and is therefore ideal for hunting, scouting and spotting applications.
